"Destiny flows through my paws,
I feel it's ebb and flow,
And where its currents swiftly lead,
It is my fate to follow."

I am a dreamer.

I think, of all the things that could be said of me, that's the truest. There's always a song or a story in my mind. Sometimes more than one. I like to create worlds and then let others explore them through the words I write. I want to show people amazing things and places, and entertain them with everything I create.

Dragons are my main fascination, and have been for a very long time. Azakir, my gold dragon persona, who speaks for me in a lot of online ways (and some offline too!), is the prominent manifestation of that. I also like elves (as shown in my current story project Wyldfyre), and have a liking for wolves. I've also been known to dabble in science fiction, which is where my writing started, before dragon-based fantasy took over.

Outside of that, well, I'm one half of the band Dragster, making a brave foray into the filk music community in the UK of late. We're named after the Dragon and hamster obsessions of our two members. We focus on mainly quite funny songs, though we do serious stuff too! I sing in the band, as I don't play an instrument, but that may change!

I also play a lot of video games, it's kind of a hobby for me. Mostly I play RPGs, but I also play DDR (Dancing Stage to Europeans) to a reasonable level, enough to wow most people, but not to take on the professionals. Yet. I roleplay too, online and offline, which is another aspect to my author personality, creating characters and stories. I've dabbled in a lot of systems, although my 'home' system will likely always be Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, two parts of the White Wolf system I became involved in during my first roleplaying days, although I tend to freeform more now.

If you'd like to know me a bit better, or simply want to point out the typos on my site, drop me a line at dragoncharmer@hotmail.com - try to make sure you put "[Sanctuary]" at the beginning of the subject line, that'll help it not get washed away by my spam filter!

So come in, look around, and dream my dreams for a while. You are welcome here, this is Sanctuary.
