Our second convention! The success we had enjoyed in Portsmouth a year earlier encouraged us to try new and interesting things in stage. There was some finger picking, some vocal-only duetting, and a whole new group of superheroes was unveilied to music, with five other brave filkers joining in for our 'experimental filk', the Jusitce League of Anglia.

We were again joined by Keris on bass guitar, and it was a real pleasure to have him on the team once more. We also managed to somehow acquire the services of hard working UK Guest of Honour types, Mich and Marilisa, who we joined forces with to create 'Divine Dragster' for the last two scripted songs of the set, before our impromptu rendering of surprise song '1860's Future'. As always, we were honoured to have such high calibre guests performing with us!

There were no awards for Dragster this year, after our first convention's surprise win, but we did manage to acquire a surprising six nominations. Of course, it's not about awards, we're just there to have fun, but it is always very gratifying to learn that others are enjoying our efforts so much! We plan to give ourselves a break for the convention in 2007, but look for us to return in 2008 with some more crazy comedy and songs!
